New York Times Highlights Patriots Point 4th of July Blast

In the June 15th edition of the New York Times Escape travel section the Patriots Point 4th of July Blast was highlighted as an Independance Day favorite along with time honored celebrations in Philadelphia and Boston. Find out what the New York Times and folks from all over the country already know about this Charleston Harbor "must see".

The Patriots Point 4th of July Blast starts at 5:00 pm on Independence Day with a fantastic food court, beer garden and terrific children's area we call "The KidZone."
As the sun starts to set center stage heats up with The East Coast Party Band... one of the Carolinas favorite show bands.
Then at 9:30 pm a Charleston Harbor tradition comes to life; fireworks launched from the flight deck of the world famous aircraft carrier USS YORKTOWN. It's a show that's been featured in the New York Times travel section, Southern Living and a host of other publications.

The Patriots Point 4th of July Blast!
5:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Admission to the landside events- FREE.
(Admission to the ship, Medal of Honor Museum and other exhibits not included.)
