In the June 15th edition of the New York Times Escape travel section the Patriots Point 4th of July Blast was highlighted as an Independance Day favorite along with time honored celebrations in Philadelphia and Boston. The Patriots Point 4th of July Blast starts at 5:00 pm on Independence Day with a fantastic food court, beer garden and terrific children's area we call "The KidZone."
As the sun starts to set center stage heats up with The East Coast Party Band... one of the Carolinas favorite show bands.
Then at 9:30 pm a Charleston Harbor tradition comes to life; fireworks launched from the flight deck of the world famous aircraft carrier USS YORKTOWN. It's a show that's been featured in the New York Times travel section, Southern Living and a host of other publications.
