Hundreds of Veterans attend Vietnam Veterans Day at Patriots Point
I’m 7th grade Science teacher at Moutrie Middle school. I received information regarding Science Summer camps, I thought at Patriots Point, about Marine animals. I have a very bright, wonderful student who is interested in camp. Am I wrong about it being at Patriot’s Point? I’m trying to assist him. Please let me know if you do or do not offer that particular course. Thank you!
Sally,
Yes! You are right, there is such a summer day camp at Patriots Point this summer. Our summer day camps are offered through the Town of Mt. Pleasant. There are three weeks of summer camp offerings in our “Summer Scientist” camp, but it is geared toward children who are ages 7-11. You can find out about it more in the Summer Camp guide here: http://www.mtpleasantrec.com/DocumentCenter/View/20865
While those options might not work for a 7th grader, perhaps your students would be interested in our Flight Academy camps offered for kids ages 10-14. They are listed on the same page of the camp guide. Hope that helps!
