Title
Comedic Summons of Lt. Fitch by Neptunus Rex and Davey Jones
Description
A comedic summons to Lt. Stephen Fitch to appear before the Royal Court of Neptunus Rex and Davey Jones at a Crossing the Line ceremony. The attached paper entitled "Charge 2" personalizes the summons to list Fitch's personal transgressions such as sabotaging the aircraft elevators and being lazy.
The Navy has several ceremonies for various instances of "crossing of the line". These ceremonies are often akin to hazing or a rite of passage where uninitiated sailors undergo the tradition of joining the ranks of the veteran sailors.
