Description
Visual message from the Commander of Task Force 58.4 to the USS Laffey (DD-724) dated February 28, 1945. The message directs the destroyer to pick up mail, photos and press material from the USS Yorktown (CV-10) and the USS Randolph (CV-15) during the Air Operations and deliver the materials to Guam.

From the Collection of Frank Manson. Lt. Frank Manson was a Communications Officer aboard the USS Laffey (DD-724) from 1944-1945, as well as the press liaison for Commander Becton during the ship's Shipyard Worker Retention Tour.
