Context
The USS Yorktown would serve as a filming location for the film "Tora! Tora! Tora!". Filmed in 1970, it dramatizes the attack on Pearl Harbor that took place on December 7, 1941. The Yorktown served a stand in for the attacking Japanese carriers.
