Description
A late World War II-era US Navy and Marine Corps pilot olive drab, Nylon flying suit. The suit is collared with a single, pull-tab zipper from collar to crotch, a pocket on either breast, and a pocket near the cuff of either leg.
Context
Worn by Lt. Joseph Rudolf Kristufek. Kristufek was a plank owner on the USS Yorktown (CV-10) and flew missions off the Yorktown as an Avenger pilot in Torpedo Squadron (VT-5) during World War II.
