Memorial Day Observance

Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will host a ceremony to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our nation’s freedom and freedom of millions worldwide over the course of our nation’s history.

This year, instead of featuring a guest speaker, the museum will invite members of the audience to come forward and say a few words about someone they would like to be remembered for giving their life for the freedoms we take for granted every day. Guests can simply state the person’s name or say a few words about them.

Veterans groups and members of the public are encouraged to attend the program and the museum will offer free admission from 8 – 9 a.m.
