Postponed: Yom Hashoah Holocaust Remembrance Event
UPDATE: Due to the increasing threat of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), our team is taking precautionary measures to keep visitors and museum staff safe. This event has been postponed. Please join The Jewish Federation of Charleston at Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum on April 19th as they commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the liberation of the World War II concentration camps by honoring our local living Holocaust Survivors and WWII Veterans from all branches of the armed forces. We can also take action together and “Commit to 75” in honor of this special anniversary. When you support the “Commit to 75” Campaign, you can do your part to ensure that our community has the critical funds needed to support Holocaust education in our local schools and care for our living Holocaust survivors and U.S. veterans. $7.50, $75, $750 or $7,500 - every amount will make a difference. To learn more, read stories of local WW II Liberators and Holocaust survivors, take action or become an event sponsor, please visit www.remember2020.org or contact remember@jewishcharleston.org.
