Tour the New CCPL Mobile Library

Tour the Charleston County Public Library's new library branch on wheels! The community can take a peek inside the state-of-the-art Mobile Library on Wednesday, April 7 at Patriots Point. During the event, library staff will offer tours of the vehicle, plus games and giveaways.

On board the Mobile Library, visitors will find a collection of books, audiobooks and DVDs/Blu-rays. It also has eight computers, Wi-Fi access, equipment for mobile programs and it's wheelchair accessible.

The Mobile Library will be parked near the museum ticketing office, right next to the water.

After touring the Mobile Library, visitors can walk in the steps of heroes through Patriots Point's many exhibits. The museum is open until 6:30 PM and tickets can be purchased on site or in advance online. Don't forget, Patriots Point is offering an after-school ticket package worth $35 of savings. On weekdays from 2-4 PM, visitors who purchase one paid adult admission can receive two free admission passes for children up to the age of 14 and one educational scavenger hunt. The after-school ticket package can be purchased in person at the ticketing office.
