Museums For All At Patriots Point
Museums for All at Patriots Point
Making History Accessible to Everyone
At Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, we believe that history should be within reach for all—regardless of financial circumstances. That’s why we’re proud to participate in Museums for All, a nationwide initiative dedicated to expanding access to meaningful museum experiences for individuals and families receiving financial assistance.
Through the Museums for All program, guests who present an Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card and valid photo ID are eligible for free admission to Patriots Point for up to four people, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to discovery, education, or inspiration.
How It Works
- Present a SNAP-EBT card and valid photo ID at the ticket booth
- Receive free museum admission for up to four guests (including the card holder)
- Explore all standard exhibits, including:
- The USS Yorktown aircraft carrier
- The legendary USS Laffey destroyer
- The immersive Vietnam Experience
- The Medal of Honor Museum
Tickets must be purchased in person at the ticket booth to receive the Museums For All rate.
Why We Participate
Patriots Point is home to powerful stories—of service, sacrifice, innovation, and perseverance. These stories belong to everyone. By joining Museums for All, we reinforce our commitment to:
- Reducing barriers to learning
- Supporting families and students
- Providing affordable access to history
- Inspiring the next generation through hands-on exploration
We view Museums for All as an investment in our community and in the future. Through this initiative, every guest, regardless of financial circumstance, has the opportunity to learn, explore, and be inspired.
