Another amazing, wonderful, beautiful 4th of July approaches Patriots Point...We were rated as one of the TOP 5 Independence Day celebrations by the New York Times...this year we celebrate the 233rd birthday of the United States and its history of freedom and light to the world. Join us here as we watch the "bombs burst in air" over the flight deck of the USS Yorktown (CV-10) which saw bombs of a more deadly nature burst over its decks in World War II in the Pacific theater. Read more here on our planned celebration schedule...

No where else will you have the experience of the Fourth like Patriots Point. The view from the shoreline with reflections off the water and warships, the concussion of the blast and the smell of gunpowder  will give you a connection with Francis Scott Key, who wrote  our national anthem watching a similar sight, and the American's in World War II who suffered night attack from Japanese bombers.

Come out, imagine and connect with our past history and celebrate our future as a nation!!!
