Exciting Updates for Summer 2021

Family walking towards Patriots Point
School is out for summer!  We're so grateful to be open and sharing our passion for the military and history with visitors again. We do not require reservations and are open every day from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the last tickets are sold at 5 p.m.  On most days, local food trucks sell tasty dishes and desserts right in front of our gates, so bring an appetite.

We highly encourage our visitors to wear face coverings, however, they are not required. We also encourage folks to utilize our touch-less ticketing system (click here). Pre-purchasing tickets will allow you to bypass our ticket window and board our museum much quicker. We also offer a few different bundled packages online that will save you money!

Safety measures we have in place include ultraviolet light air purifiers that sanitize the air in climate-controlled exhibits. Our custodial staff works around the clock to ensure that public areas are properly cleaned regularly. More than a dozen hand sanitizing stations are located on our vessels, gift shop and in the Vietnam Experience. In addition, floor signage at our ticket window and inside the gift shop encourages visitors to keep six feet apart.

Thank you to everyone who supported the USS Yorktown Foundation and us as we navigated a very challenging year. We take our mission seriously and are looking forward to our new beginning. We'll see you soon.
