Holes Fore Heroes Raises Over $105,000 for Patriots Point

Date

The USS Yorktown Foundation’s 2nd Annual Holes Fore Heroes Golf Tournament was a record-breaking success, raising more than $105,000 in support of Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum – a 50% increase over last year’s inaugural event.

Held on October 13, 2025, at Charleston National Golf Club, the sold-out tournament brought together 120 golfers including veterans, corporate partners, and community leaders for a day of friendly competition and shared commitment to honoring our nation’s heroes.

Proceeds from the event support the Foundation’s mission to provide educational scholarships, enhance and preserve exhibits, and inspire future generations by promoting America’s proud traditions of service, leadership, duty, and sacrifice.

“We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from our sponsors, donors, and players,” said Kayla Webber, Director of Community Relations and Membership for the USS Yorktown Foundation. “Every dollar raised directly impacts the educational programs and preservation initiatives that make Patriots Point such a meaningful place for visitors of all ages.”

The day featured breakfast, lunch, and a post-tournament dinner for all players, along with giveaways, contests, and an online silent auction showcasing exclusive golf experiences and one-of-a-kind items.

The Foundation extends its gratitude to the Rowland Family Foundation, this year’s Presenting Sponsor, along with all sponsors who made the tournament possible:
