It's easy to fall in love with Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum. History is embedded in the steel hull of the USS Yorktown and USS Laffey, and visitors can literally walk in the steps of heroes as they explore the stories onboard. The aircraft carrier and destroyer are two highly decorated vessels from the United States Navy's fleet. Each one is an artifact itself and houses museum exhibits throughout the ship. Also included with admission, guests gain access to the Medal of Honor Recipients' Museum to hear the tales of those earning the United State's highest military award for valor. Landside is the Vietnam Experience, which is the replica of a Brown Water Navy support base. Throughout the site, guests can explore more than 1,000,000 square feet of exhibits, ships, and spaces, plus see more than two dozen historic aircraft.
