The USS Yorktown Foundation has hired Meaghan Silsby as director of development. A graduate of the College of Charleston, Silsby has spent the last several years in Washington, D.C., where she served in key roles with the City Year Washington, D.C., Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

“It’s an honor to be part of an organization that helps to keep our nation’s military history alive and supports Patriots Point’s critical mission,” said Silsby. “I’m excited to work alongside an impressive and inspired Board as we develop new partnerships to support the museum and its goals.”
