Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum is offering online ticket sales for access to the USS Yorktown’s Flight Deck during the 4th of July Fireworks Blast. The tickets cost $25 and are on sale now. Online orders will be limited to six tickets per person. Those tickets cannot be resold.

The USS Yorktown’s flight deck provides an enhanced fireworks viewing option during the museum’s July 4th celebration. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for seating. Food and drinks will not be permitted on the flight deck, but local food vendor King of Pops will sell gourmet popsicles. Access to the historic aircraft carrier will open to those with tickets at 7:30 p.m. and close at the conclusion of the fireworks show. Flight deck capacity is limited and tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

“Our goal is to make our visitors’ experience the best it can be,” said Director of Visitor Services Gina Zahran. “By adding an advance ticket option for the Yorktown’s Flight Deck, we hope to make planning easier for families who want to celebrate the holiday at the most patriotic place in South Carolina.”

In addition to the flight deck option on July 4, guests are invited to a free party landside of the historic World War II aircraft carrier USS Yorktown. This will include live music, access to more than a dozen food trucks and a fireworks show above Charleston Harbor after sundown. This event does not require a ticket. Parking at Patriots Point for the day will be $20 per vehicle. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own seating.
