Patriots Point To Offer Free Admission to First Responders and Their Families on 9/11
On the 15th anniversary of the tragic terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Patriots Point will offer free admission to all first responders and their families. The museum will also provide a flower for visitors to cast into Charleston Harbor in memory of the more than 3,000 victims who were murdered, and a remembrance board for those who would like to share a memory or write a personal message to a loved one.
“We want folks to remember and honor those who lost their lives in the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and aboard United Airlines 93,” said Patriots Point Executive Director Mac Burdette. We also want to thank all of our first responders for the tireless efforts and sacrifices they make each day to keep us safe. These men and women serve as the heartbeat of our nation. We encourage everyone to stop and salute them for what they do.”
