Today, post WB day, thirteen C-17's from Charleston Air Force Base made a mass formation flyby of Patriots Point.

Also yesterday, I had a chance to talk with retired Navy Commander Gary D. Harrell. He was here to visit our ships and the Medal of Honor museum which has special significance to Gary. His father was Marine Sergeant William G. Harrell, a Medal of Honor recipient,

who was severely wounded in action at the battle of Iwo Jima. Everyday someone comes onboard will amazing connections to our nations history and heroes.
