USS Yorktown CV-10 Association Accepting Scholarship Applications for Fall 2015

Mt. Pleasant, S.C. - The USS Yorktown CV-10 Association is accepting applications for their 2015 scholarship program. Two scholarships are offered; one for a descendant of a USS Yorktown Crew Member, and one for a high school student enrolled in Charleston, Berkeley or Dorchester County, South Carolina. The Scholarships will be awarded to students who plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or a program at an accredited vocational/technical school.

Each $1,250 scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years or until a degree or certificate is earned, whichever comes first. Renewal is based on maintaining a cumulative 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

The scholarship program is being administered by Scholarship Management Services®, a division of Scholarship America®. The USS Yorktown CV-10 Association will not be involved in the selection of students who receive the scholarships.
