Japanese Plane Destroyed by Anti-Aircraft Fire

Photograph of a Japanese plane hit by anti-aircraft fire, falling in the direction of an American aircraft carrier. This image was captured from the flight deck of the USS Kitkun Bay (CVE-71). Two Avenger torpedo planes can also be seen sitting on the flight deck. Taken during the Marianas Operation during June of 1944.
