Veterans Day Weekend

In recognition of their dedicated service and sacrifice, Patriots Point will offer veterans and their immediate families free admission to the museum November 9 – 11.

Saturday, November 9

In partnership with the Patriot Art Foundation, we will host our annual Patriot Art Yorktown event and invite veterans aboard the USS Yorktown for a day of watercolor painting instruction, a live painting demonstration, camaraderie, and more. As part of our Second Saturday program, guests can witness history come to life all day long through our Living History reenactors. Found at various stations across the museum, visitors are encouraged to learn more about our historic ships, conflicts/eras, military leaders, and more by interacting with the characters.
