Area Students Eligible for Scholarship

In pursuit of the association's mission to educate and inspire patriotism across generations, the USS Yorktown CV-10 Association Scholarship Program is approaching its second year. The scholarship will be given to a Charleston Tri-County area student attending one of the following schools:

The $1,250 scholarship is renewable until a degree is earned, up to three additional years, for a total of $5,000.

 

In order to be eligible, the student must:

 

  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)
  • Be a citizen of a the United States
 

This scholarship is administered by Scholarship Management Services®, a division of Scholarship America®. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin.
