Patriots Point and the Legendary 1st Marine Division Pair for Unique Meet and Greet Opportunity

The Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will be partnering with 1st Marine Division Association during their 67th annual reunion to host a meet and greet event with Marines who fought in World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam.

Museum visitors will have a unique opportunity to meet some of our nation’s bravest heroes, and hear their personal war stories from the Battles of Guadalcanal, Peleliu, Chosin Reservoir, Hue and more. The meet and greet will be on Wednesday, Aug. 13, in the USS YORKTOWN’s Hangar Bay II. It will start at 11:00 a.m. and last approximately one hour. Marines who are members of the Marine Corps League or Lowcountry Leathernecks will be offered free admission. For others, the event will be included in the normal museum ticket price.
