As part of its Blended Learning Initiative, the Patriots Point Institute of History, Science and Technology (PPIHST) is excited to host its sixth annual Teacher’s Recertification Professional Development Program on board the USS Yorktown. Registration for the June 6-7 event is now open. The two-day program is designed to inform, engage and inspire educators through a series of new and exciting workshops. Teachers who attend will earn 20 recertification credits from the South Carolina Department of Education.
During the two-day teacher recertification process, Patriots Point will also host daily luncheons with guest speakers including SC Rep. Rita Allison, Chair of the SC House Education Committee.
