The Bell UH-1M Iroquois, also called the Huey, is a utility, turbine-powered military helicopter manufactured by the American aerospace company Bell Helicopter. Furnished with a Lycoming T53-L-13 engine, the UH-1 is the first turbine-powered helicopter in service with the United States military. The 1M variant was specifically fashioned as a gunship. 

The Huey was first used in combat during the Vietnam War, beginning in March 1962. It was used for conducting general air support, assault, search and rescue, cargo transport, evacuation, amongst a multitude of other missions.
